About Immunize El Paso

For more than 30 years, Immunize El Paso has been dedicated to improving access to healthcare for underserved communities throughout the Borderplex region. Founded by Jill Field as a “clinic without walls,” the organization began by bringing vaccines and health services directly to those who needed them most.

Today, Immunize El Paso operates clinics, mobile units, and community outreach programs that provide vaccinations, lab services, and health screenings to children and adults regardless of their insurance status or ability to pay. As a trusted community healthcare provider, we remain committed to breaking down barriers to care and protecting the health of our region.

Our Mission

To improve lives and communities by providing immunization and other prevention-based care, allied health and first responder education, and Emergency Medical Services.

What We Do

Immunize El Paso provides accessible healthcare services designed to keep our community healthy and protected. Our services include vaccinations for children and adults, laboratory services, and drug screenings, delivered through our clinics, community outreach programs, and mobile healthcare initiatives.

Through the Texas Vaccines for Children (TVFC) Program, we help ensure eligible children receive recommended vaccines at little to no cost. We also offer Flu2You, a unique mobile vaccination program that brings flu vaccines directly to individuals who may have difficulty accessing traditional healthcare settings, including those with mobility challenges, autism spectrum disorders, or certain mental health conditions.

For more than three decades, we have met people where they are. Whether in schools, workplaces, community centers, or their own homes, we are removing barriers to care and improving access to essential health services.

Our Clinical Standards

We take clinical excellence seriously. Immunize El Paso has adopted immunization practices that meet or exceed the standards set by:

  • The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS)
  • Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
  • The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP)
  • The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
  • The American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP)

Every vaccine we administer follows proper cold-chain storage protocols, evidence-based schedules, and documented patient safety procedures. Our staff is trained to all standards and stays current with evolving ACIP recommendations as they are issued.
