Measles cases in the United States have reached their highest level since 2000, reminding us that vaccine preventable diseases are still a very real threat. With many cases reported nationwide, health experts continue to emphasize that vaccination remains the best way to protect yourself, your family, and your community.

Although many children have already returned to school, it is not too late to make sure they are up to date on their recommended vaccinations. Measles is one of the most contagious diseases and can spread easily through coughing, sneezing, or simply being near someone who is infected. Staying current on recommended vaccines remains the most effective way to prevent serious illness and reduce the spread of disease.

We’re Making Vaccinations More Accessible

At Immunize El Paso, we believe everyone deserves access to preventive healthcare.

To help families during the busy back to school season, we have temporarily extended our clinic hours through August 15, making it easier than ever to receive recommended vaccinations. If you’re unsure whether your child is up to date, our team can review immunization records, answer your questions, and determine whether any vaccines are still needed. Eligible families may also qualify for free or low cost vaccines through the Texas Vaccines for Children (TVFC) Program.

Temporary Extended Hours (Through August 15)

Both Clinic Locations

  • Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Eastside Clinic Only

  • Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

In addition to our clinic locations, we continue to provide mobile vaccination clinics throughout the Borderplex. By partnering with schools, community organizations, and local events, we’re bringing vaccines directly into neighborhoods and making preventive care more convenient for families.
